This Warranty Policy applies to projector screens, AV accessories and video‑conference cameras (“Products”) purchased from www.screentechnics.in
By purchasing our Products, you agree to the terms below, in addition to our Terms of Use and Return & Refund Policy.
1. Standard warranty coverage
Unless stated otherwise on the product page, we provide the following standard warranty from the date of invoice:
- Projector screens (manual, fixed frame, motorised):
- 1 months to 1 year or extended warranty as agreed on manufacturing defects in frame, fabric, motor and mechanism.
- Video‑conference cameras & webcams:
- 1 months to 1 year or extended warranty as agreed on manufacturing defects in electronics, optics and firmware.
- AV accessories (mounts, brackets, cables, splitters, extenders, hubs, adapters):
- 1 months to 1 year or extended warranty as agreed on manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
Some Products may carry brand‑specific or extended manufacturer warranties. In such cases, the terms and duration mentioned on the product page / box / warranty card will prevail.
2. What the warranty covers
During the warranty period, the Product will be repaired or replaced (at our or the manufacturer’s option) free of charge if it shows:
- manufacturing defects in material or workmanship;
- functional failure under normal, specified usage (e.g., non‑power‑on, consistent image issue, motor failure, port failure, etc.);
- firmware issues covered by the manufacturer.
Repair or replacement may be with a new or refurbished unit or parts of equal or higher value, at our or the manufacturer’s discretion. The remaining warranty period will be the original unexpired period.
3. What is not covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage due to improper installation, non‑recommended mounting or incorrect screen tensioning.
- Damage caused by power surge, incorrect voltage, earthing issues, lightning, water ingress, fire, accident, impact or misuse.
- Physical damage such as bent frames, cracked housings, broken connectors, torn screen fabric, scratches on lenses or panels after delivery.
- Normal wear and tear, including minor cosmetic defects that do not affect performance.
- Use with incompatible devices, unauthorised accessories or modifications.
- Repairs, opening of units, firmware modification or service by non‑authorised personnel.
- Failure to follow the user manual, installation guide or safety precautions.
- Dead pixels / minor imperfections within the tolerance limits specified by the manufacturer (if any).
- Products where the serial number / barcode / warranty label is removed, altered or unreadable.
Consumables (batteries, cables, cosmetic parts) are generally excluded unless expressly stated.
4. Who provides the warranty
Depending on the brand and product, warranty service may be provided directly by the manufacturer / brand service centre under their terms; or by screen technics or our authorised service partners.
The responsible service provider and process (carry‑in) will be indicated on the product page or confirmed by our support team.
5. How to claim warranty
To raise a warranty claim during the warranty period:
- Contact us at info@satguruinfo.com or WhatsApp/Call [+91‑9004749833 with:
- Order ID / invoice copy;
- Product model and serial number;
- Description of the issue;
- Photos/videos showing the defect.
- We may provide basic troubleshooting. If the issue persists, we will share details of the nearest authorised service centre.
You must retain your original invoice as proof of purchase; warranty cannot be honoured without valid proof of purchase.
6. Transportation and visit charges
- For carry‑in or service‑centre warranties, you may need to bear the cost of sending the Product to and from the service centre.
- For in‑warranty repairs where a defect is confirmed and no exclusion applies, labour and replacement parts are typically free. If the issue is found to be out of warranty (customer damage, installation fault, etc.), you may be charged as per standard service rates.
7. Limitation of liability
- Our and the manufacturer’s liability is limited to repair or replacement of the Product or, where not feasible, refund of the invoice value (subject to reasonable deduction for usage where applicable).
- We are not responsible for any loss of data, loss of business, profits, goodwill, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Product, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Relationship with Return & Refund Policy
- Issues discovered within 1 days of delivery that qualify under our defect‑based Return & Refund Policy may be handled as returns/replacements under that Policy.
- After the return period expires, all issues will be handled exclusively under this Warranty Policy and the manufacturer’s warranty terms, as applicable.
9. Statutory rights
Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits or excludes rights that you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in India, including in respect of defective or deficient goods.
